Topic: Walter Trout Video Message 1 Year on ..

Moving and uplifting video message from Walter 1 year after his liver transplant.

When I look at this and compare to when I saw him at the end of the last UK tour, the improvement is beyond belief.

Cant wait to see the man back in the UK.

Me too.

Walter is my most important blues guy (sorry to say that on a JB forum), but I was a Walter fan, before that young whippersnapper came to prominence.  In fact I remember the flame wars that were on Walters forum when Joe was 18 or 19 and it was pretty nasty.  Thankfully those are long gone and it didn't affect their relationship.

I'm proud that I and so many others were able to contribute towards Walter's recovery, and I'm sure he will payback all his fans in the best way possible, by rocking the house down !!

Great to see him looking much healthier. What he and Marie have been through and how much folks rallied around them is so inspiring.

There are good folks in the world no matter what the media says. God Bless Walter and Marie and the family that donated that liver.

I was a fan of Walters before I heard of Joe too.Although not on any forum.
I really love his style of playing and how he puts his whole heart into his playing and singing.
I never met the man but it is obvious  from the response through his ordeal how respected he is by fans and the blues community.
