Re: "Birthdays and Whatever" Thread Version 2.0

Saw in the paper today it was Johnny Deep's 56th (6/9/1963) ... so I figure I'd link a song / video that came out a couple of days ago.

(Not a big Depp fan ... I've only seen him in 21 Jump Street back in the day ... no movies ... but have always been a big fan of Joe Perry ... who plays with him in the Hollywood Vampires.  Not a bad cover of David Bowie's Heroes imho.)

Hollywood Vampires "Heroes“ from the album “Rise” out June 21st

And a Happy 58th to a guy whose movies I have seen and enjoyed ...

A Happy 67th to Mr. John Hiatt (8/20/1952)

Apologies to post a familiar song / video ... but from day one ... dug John's vocals on this track ... and became one of my most favorite Joe solos on this ... with the heavy drum toms underneath ... and a bonus to hear the duo vocals on a Joe track.

A thank you to those that keep up.
I agree in spades about Down Around My Place. Mr Hiatt is one of America’s great poets and songwriters and it made me very happy to see Joe give him recognition.
