Curious that he played "I Gave Up Everything" twice.  Possibly for the taping?  No complaints here.  Great tune.  Looking forward to seeing the broadcast and hopefully buying the Blu-ray.

What a weekend!  Thanks, Joe!

I loved the "retake"...awesome, unexpected surprise and it really took the show to another level past the killer, epic show it already was!!

Also loved "So, What Would I Do" had a nice Ray Charles feeling from Reese, JB and the band...nice way to end the show!!

I loved the "reprise"...was like they never stopped playing it and picked it back up right were they left off and then went to the next level...awesome, unexpected surprise and it really took the show to another level past the killer, epic show it already was!!

Loved "So, What Would I Do" had a nice Ray Charles feeling from Reese, JB and the band...nice way to end the show!!

They did that in London for the Borderline. One take was not good and the song was played again.

Re: Radio City

Thanks for posting those Natasha. That is the first time I've seen Joe do Happier Times outside of RAH. I really enjoyed the acoustic version but think I like the electric one a little better. I still think that lyrically is one of the best things Joe has done. The solo on the electric version is perfect for the mood of that song too.

As usual, your videos are fantastic! When you say that night 2 was a fabulous show, I believe you. I sure hope they use that one for the dvd!

Re: Radio City

Was poking around on Amazon ... they are showing a Release Date for Radio City CD/DVD Combo as Oct 2, 2015. No Pre-Order button, No artwork shown ... and the 2nd falls on a Friday ... so ... the date ... with a grain of salt. (ASIN and UPC #s have been assigned though.)

"I was in Space for less than 2 weeks … and suddenly Jeaniene’s back … half the Band is off the gd wagon … we have comedians opening for us … and the nice kid that ran our website is now a kleptof’nmaniac.  Boy ... did you guys miss me!!"  Phil Valentine - Road Manager - Staton House Band

JBLP#251 (unaged) ... thank you Ron.

Re: Radio City

Albums are released worldwide on a Friday now.

Re: Radio City

"Learn one new thing every day."

(8/9/15 ... check!!)

big_smile ... thank you.  I didn't realize the release day changed.  I googled ... looks like there were many online articles on it last month ... when it changed to Fridays.)

OK then .. Oct 2 for Radio City ... maybe more than a grain of salt. smile
