yeah I saw that on his twitter feed right after I was free from work for about 1min.

Much as we hated the old system since we we're always able to get the codes from Alex, but we loved the good seats first when we got the codes.
Now its free to the world and when you can order 8+ tickets at a time scalps grab them fast.
maybe they should limit 4 per sale to at least slow things down.

there has to be a better system for then Alex now Eric's methods

I have M&G/show tickets that I got from the Tour de Force box set I bought.  Would love to use them for the Aug. 12 show in Bangor, it's "only" a 5 hour drive for me. 

Here's the thing...I have 2 tickets and just one of me.  My closest friend, who is going on the cruise with me and his wife, can't make it, and I don't want to take just anyone, just to fill the seat.  So often I go to concerts with someone who really isn't a fan, not so much fun.  Who here would like that second seat?  I want to share it with a true fan of Joe"s.  Or, if anyone has a suggestion of a deserving person let me know!

Check with the office first. I was denied using a litho credit for a "special event"  which this tour may be. You can't use the credits for all the shows.

Well I plan on going, but also hope to buy a ticket tomorrow (I might take you up on the offer if I fail).  5 hour drive for me as well. 

I think the special event that Rick is referring to was the Borderline show in 2013 (I tried to do the same thing and got shut down)but that was a VERY expensive and limited capacity show, so I think this one will probably be fine to use the passes for.  Doesn't hurt to check with the office, though.

If you can't get a "real" fan to take you up on this, find someone who has never seen Joe and watch their socks get blown off.  That is always fun.

I hear you! I was in at 10 and the seats were not good. Tried again and they got worse, the sold out. George is coming from Amsterdam so I wanted to take him. I'll try again with the general sale, but I'm sad sad

Why no dates even remotely close to the south!? Nashville, Knoxville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh/Durham, the list goes on and on. I've seen Joe many times, though not since the tour supporting The Ballad of John Henry. I just haven't been able to afford the ticket prices since then. However, I would make an exception to see a tribute to the 3 Kings.
