This is the only Forum I am active on ... those two are great for info on LP's for sure ... and I Registered to both a couple years back ... but never got "approved" on the TLP Forum. Could be a mistake on my end ... few months ago sent an email to inquire ... never heard back. Maybe more exclusive? (With me, guess I can't blame them. ) Still enjoy lurking for info. Joe posts in every now and then.
Apologies for off-topic.

That is one GORGEOUS Les Paul! I love the top, wow, what an awesome addition to an already incredible collection. I hope to see Joe playing this beauty next month.

I assume the Joe B making the post is the man himself. I wonder why he chose to post on that forum rather than this one.

My guess would be it's because there's a fair amount of vintage guitar collectors and knowledgeable vintage gear hounds that frequent that forum.
Agreed. It makes bigger waves and more people are chimed in on that one!
Also, one or more of The Claws former owners is on there. I do hope it makes an appearance at some of his shows. It is interesting to see that he is a co-owner, someone else involved. $$ I suppose. That guitar didn't go for a song!!
Well folks, Carmelita made her debut in Joe's hands last night at the Notes For Notes benefit. Joe shared the stage with such luminaries as Jimmy Vivino, Robben Ford, Seymour Duncan, Rich Robinson and Laith Al-Saadi. The tone from her was simply astounding! Jimmy V kept talking about it and said he got to touch it and it wasn't fair for Joe to have it on stage with them. Joe chuckled and wryly said something about he agreed. Here's the only solo Joe played since he typically let the others shine, but when he hit those strings you knew. I have a feeling this will be his #1. Double Trouble as Joe channels a master as only he can do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc8f7UmeN-Y
Rick
Well at least all those historic guitar's are getting played by someone who loves them, instead of a collector hiding them in a closet.
esp now that Joe says he's gone from about 300 guitars to about 40.
What amp's did they have on stage there, Rick?

There was a long row of Fender Twins. Vintage amps for vintage gits.
Very nice!!! That guitar has flames from every angle and it sounds awesome, what more could you want?
Nice strap too
Rick, Great video, thanks for sharing. I really love everything about this Les Paul.
Thanks Rick for capturing and sharing! Beautiful top.
O U T S T A N D I N G !!!
