And.... on this day in Bonahistory, Different Shades of Blue struck deep into the status quo of the music industry and opened the USA Billboard Top 200 at NUMBER 8! Well done.

Thanks Jim ... I was just putting 10/02 together now smile ... I have the Norman OK date as 10/02/04 ... had Ardmore OK - Two Frogs - for 10/01.  I'll dig in a little deeper to see if I messed up. (Thanks for the guests info.)

For '05 ... I have 10/21 for the Norman Sooner show (and back at Ardmore's Two Frogs the next day on the 22nd.)

PS ... thanks Jane H for your post!!  Brings BH to life!!

I found the recording of the 10/21 show. It had a rare performance of I Know Where I Belong as a closer. It also was a show Johnny A opened. This was one of the last few shows with Kenny and Eric. Norman, Ardmore, then Dallas at the Granada with a make up show at Shank Hall I believe which was the last show for that lineup.

Looking for the audio of the 10/02 show which had an extended HTCT with Starship Trooper played on the original prototype Gigliotti that Patrick first brought to Joe and he had it along with him on that tour. It was an aluminum topped one.

I know you were in a rush to get out the door to go see some guitar player tonite, so I'll share some links.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/24057301@ … 915565145/  Hammersmith night 1  -great night, spent hours queuing for this one to be up front with some great friends, also first time Joe played the Rory Gallagher Strat.  My video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxCGZ9O … luaISO6mcA - Pete's video (we were standing right next to each other):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxzQZyVR10w  Also Pete's recording of the very haunting Midnight Blues on the Rory Strat from that night.  Pre-gig fun from both nights. https://www.flickr.com/photos/24057301@ … 515499635/

Hammersmith night 2:  https://www.flickr.com/photos/24057301@ … 040673842/

Foxboro:  https://www.flickr.com/photos/24057301@ … 440320078/  (not my best pictures, but hey, I was there).  Strange night - changed from standing to general admission seating at last minute - way oversold.  We stood next to a table where Bob Kraft's wife (he is the owner of the NE Patriots) was sitting.  Bob and coach Bill showed up before the night was done and seemed to enjoy themselves.

Providence - Lupo's - https://www.flickr.com/photos/24057301@ … 440364444/  That place was freezing that night (warmer outside than inside).  My avatar was based on one of the pics I took that night.

Also was at the Berklee show.  At the time it was one of the nicest places we had seen Joe play - unreal acoustics.  No cameras allowed, though.  Several interesting "commenters" in the audience that night.  Someone requested Joe play Woke Up Dreaming faster.  He stopped, cracked up, and then proceeded to do exactly that.  Some girl in the balcony also was getting quite "excited" during Just Got Paid, and announced it to the entire theater.  Joe glanced up, cracked a grin, but never missed a beat.  The whole place cracked up.

I will be sorry to see this series end - so many awesome memories out there.  But, there will always be new ones.

Edit: jim ... 7/26/06 Tulsa OK - The Venue ??  (and not 7/27/06 Ardmore OK - Two Frogs).

I think 7/26 ... but notice some wardrobe changes comparing the brief show clip at the end the interview posting (with joe holding a SG, mistitled as 2008 ... you were kind enough to lead me to back in July): http://youtu.be/j-0MHSCspzA

Edit Edit:   think I found it ... MARCH 3rd Stage Center!!! (I'm so thick ... "Stage Center"!!)

(I'll leave my first guess up ... with interview ... for now ... today will be in In Oklahoma 2006 Bonahistory ... plus the interview show clip has Joe with a Lucille.)  Thanks for posting the video links!
