Just finished the first listen, and I think it's sounding great - very fresh, with a really good vibe to the whole record!!!! It just sounds like it was a lot of fun to write and record.

Sorry - it was mean to start the thread like that (but funny ;-)
But seriously, the album sounds great!!
Just listened to Cradle Rock (1st track on New Day Yesterday), and then Oh Beautiful! (1st vocal track on Diff Shades) - what a difference 14 yrs makes - Joe's voice has developed so much and the guitar playing is much more mature - still fiery at times but supporting the songs better.
What will 2028 bring?!?
Well 2028 I will be a lot older hope I still have my hearing lol.
I agree about Joes vocals.That is the most notable change and improvement you can hear.The other thing is that since that time Joe has been able to stock up in some incredible gear for the sounds he can get now.
Interesting to see the direction changes he has gone through and I also wonder what he can do as time goes on?
