I like the new song a lot. I'm really looking forward to the new album in September.

(I quite like The Eagles)You know I didn't think Eagles in particular but it reminded me of the California Country rock I was fond of in the 70's. But yes if the Eagles cover that song they may have their first hit in 25 years.
I was thinking Jeff Healey
Unfortunately, Jeff Healey wont be covering any songs in the near future
I really like it! This one will appeal to a wider audience than many of Joe's tunes. Well done!
A hit. That Nashville hang really got the juices flowing Joe. Toe tapping singalong stuff. More More More!
Rick
I really dig this song. Listened to it three times. Looking forward to the album.
Dig it, can't wait for the rest of the album!

No fair - Joe gets first dibs on it being a hit (though that would be a first - don't want to ruin the "no hits" streak). Eagles can get in line.

Very nice song.Has mainstream appeal for sure.
I really like it. There's some sounds in it that connects me to when I first heard Song Of Yesterday (well parts of it!) by "who we don't speak of" and was totally blown away.
Looking forward to hearing the full album. Really hope I can my my hands on it before I see Joe in Sydney on September 14.

Ha! That's right.Eagles can keep their meat hooks off!
NewTrack: Hey Baby ( New rising Sun) is that Jimi Hendrix's off Rainbow bridge ???
Not unless Joe was here in another life and wrote it for Jimi.
Yes, partly elements of "Eagle Sound" had been my first thought. Love this composition. Must have and must buy for me! Thrilled what other surprises will be on that new CD material. Surely something special ...
I am liking this song very much...excellent writing style...liking the guitars in it. I think having an acoustic 12 string, a strat, and Spot makes for such a full big guitar sound without being overbearing through out the song. Well balanced musically and very catchy...definitely could see this being a genre transition type song that can appeal to more than us blues/blues-rock fans....Seeing it could be more adaptable to many "radio" stations....
Can't wait to get the CD...
Haven't been here in awhile but just had to login to say I love the new song and can't wait for the new album!
Damn Joe, my life is a friggin' mess and I find music so good for what's left of my soul....what a perfect time for you to drop a new song and upcoming album on my lap. Thank you!
awesome tune look out Joe this could be the BIG ONE
Cheers Ron
Simple "pop" song, simple lyrics, catchy rhythm, "hit radio" for sure... Sounds like Joe decided to rest a bit... Which is understandable with all that pressure... After all he is still a Human!
Would love to hear the rest of the album to make a full judgement of the situation.
