Topic: Loyalty

I love the Jimmy Barnes vocal on "Too Much Ain't Enough Love."  But my grandson is not so fond of it- every time he hears the song he says "I want Joe to sing!"  Now that is loyalty!

Ok, I've gone to the "my 4 year old grandson is so cute" well enough- I'm done!  smile

Re: Loyalty

As a 4 year old, he has a shorter attention span.  Unlike his grandpa, he loses interest if the guitar solos are too long, so he has listened mostly to  the "Driving Towards the Daylight" CD.  I may have to experiment with him and see how he reacts to Beth.

Interestingly, he has listened to a few of the songs on Royal Albert Hall and has no problem with Joe sharing the mike with Eric Clapton- I have taught him respect for the older generation!  smile

Re: Loyalty

PS- As with many little ones, some of his first music exposure was from Jack's Big Music Show on Nickelodeon so he for a time he was really into Laurie Berkner.  That was about all we could get him to listen to in the car (which is where most of our listening occurs)   Not that I minded Laurie,  excellent for her genre, but we tried to get him to listen to other things to give us a little variety- no luck!  He was adamant about wanting to hear Laurie:  until Joe came along.  Joe broke the spell!  smile

Just occurred to me- Buddy Guy appeared on one episode of Jack's Big Music Show- maybe Buddy is the one who paved the way for Joe?  smile
