Re: Brand new Rory Lithograph just released
I am one of the people that requested a price. Nothing wrong with the price you were asking. I just was not ready to "pull the trigger" yet. I have room for one maybe two at my home. As with all the art work I have purchased, I just knew immediately that I wanted it. If I had to think about it, it was not right for me. The fact that "Rory" has not sold out yet has no bearing on my purchase. If I were the only one to purchase it, would not bother me at all. At my age I know what I like, I do things for my and my wife's pleasure, wether it has value to some one else some where down the line is my son's problem after I am gone. I have found great pleasure in music since I was very young. As with most people I have gone through some horrific times, that some times lasted for years. Music was always my comfort, always my refuge. There have been some very dark times in my life when going for a drive in my car, listening to Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Yes, Jethro Tull, James Gang was the only thing that kept me from driving off a cliff. My life is so much better now. I have the best wife in the world and she "gets" Joe. She understands how his music has enriched our lives. She watches me as I listen to Joe and she loves his music, not only because it is great, but, because she see's the effect it has on me. We still go through horrific times. Our one year old grandson, is going through a devastating medical situation, where the best we can hope for is traumatic brain damage. That's the best we can hope for. Sorry for rambling on, a couple cocktails after a long days work will do that to me. The best things in my life are my wife, family and my enjoyment of music, led by Joe. No artist has ever had the effect of me that Joe has.
