Topic: JBLP Goldtop Just Arrived

Hello fellow Bonaholics, I just wanted to share a few photos of my new baby, a JBLP Std Goldtop. I've been playing a Vantage LP copy (one of nine different guitars I own) for years, but Joe has given me the desire to make the plunge and get the real thing. Its so sweet! Gibson really does a great job as far as fit, finish and setup. The action is real nice, the intonation was dead on right out of the box, and it feels so nice in my hands its hard to put it down.

My Thanks to Joe, for helping to produce such a fine instrument!

Thanks, yes it is a great feeling to finally have the real thing. Does anyone else get really nervous whe they have a guitar shipped? I must have tracked the package at least five times yesterday. Then I was able to breathe a sigh of relief when I opened the case and saw all was well.

Very nice! Yeah I was also nervous having mine JB goldtop shipped! I told the seller I was would drive down to Nashville for it, which is  about 8 hours from Chicago, but he assured me it would be fine. LOL It sure is a beaut!

Isn't it funny how something as simple as a guitar can cause so much emotion.  A thing of beauty for sure.  So happy for you Rusty.  When you feel up too it, share a video of your playing.  I am so jealous of all you players.   I am learning but so far have only mastered two chords.  At this rate, I will be 80 before I learn a real Joe song.
