Re: Joe at Download Festival 2014
I also think the Download Gig is a shrewd move - I for one would love to go.
Get your travelling shoes on and I will buy you a beer or two

Just a quick clarification, Classic Rocnacht in Germany has not been completely confirmed but we are absolutely on Download on Sunday the 15th of June.

Thanks for clearing that up Eric. I better tell the promoter he has it wrong.
Hello all! Hate to make another announcement like this, but the promoters seem to be getting a bit too excited over there and have jumped the gun once again and given us incorrect dates! Once everything has cleared itself up, I will make an official announcement stating the correct dates. Please keep an eye out for our that, I don't want anyone to purchase a ticket that is for the wrong day!
That's Great-News, hopefully i'll be in attendance on the Sunday!!
Hey Kenny, I just wondered may you be attending the Johnny Lang & KWS Gigs in London in April?

Hi Andy. I would only see Jonny Lang if he played his first 3 albums. Not sure yet if I can manage KWS. Will post on forum if I can.

Hey Kenny, I just wondered may you be attending the Johnny Lang & KWS Gigs in London in April?Yeah, it would be great if he played stuff from his first 3, I know style wise they were more bluesey & less gospel & soul. However, although I also prefer his earlier material, I still like the more recent stuff too, as he's got such a great soulfull voice!! Well, it would be great to catch up with you, if you happen to be in attendance for one or both. Otherwise, I may see you at Download for Joe's Set etc!!! All The Best Andy

Joe is moving to the main stage on Sunday. So kudos for that. Means I will have to change my travel arrangements but hey ho.
Is this absolute concrete nailed on news Kenny? If so, that's brill news!!! Hopefully this will enable Joe to play at least an Hours-Set?

I believe he accommodated a move to the Sunday because of the double booking with Germany. Joe on before Volbeat, I understand, so an afternoon slot.

Bring out Wandering Earth sure to win them over
Also just a random thought on this.It seems to me over the years there are plenty if hard rock and metal fans on this forum .I think there are metal fans who dig some great bluesy guitar music too.So those with an open ear there will be in for a treat!
Bring out Wandering Earth sure to win them over
I might get hated for this, but Wandering Earth is one of my least favorite songs!
Excellent, that's encouraging & positive to hear, I look forward in anticipation to the potentially "Great Bona-Massive Day"!!

We'll to each his own. That song has a very heavy Zep vibe in my opinion.I love how heavy it is!And no need for hate here there are people who say this an that are their favorite Joe tune and I scratch my head. However,I can't think of one track on any Joe album that I can say I dislike. Some are kind of have to be in the mood for ,but nothing that I just refuse to listen to.Now that's amazing to me because off the top if my head I can't say if there is any band or artist I can say that about.
