Re: Another side to being a Joe fan

Amazing story.I think all of us here are better for reading it! The fact that Joe is the centerpiece makes it all the more emotional. You now are the first  doctor of Bonamedicine! No offense to the original funky doctor of love BJJ .

Re: Another side to being a Joe fan

Thank you so much for sharing your story. Such wonderful compassion you showed towards this man and the way you both connected through Joe's music is a testament to how special music can be. It transcends barriers and brings people together in more ways than we could possibly imagine.

Re: Another side to being a Joe fan

I of course agree with all of the previous comments.  One of the things I took from the story was how two completely different people, one that was not literate enough to write on the forum and a physician were brought together by music.  Particularly by the music of Joe.  I am always amazed and saddened when I ask people what kind of music they are into and they say they really don't care about music.  I cannot imagine a world with out music.  It is one of my greatest joys.

The only thing we deserve, is an opportunity.  Everything else has to be earned.

Re: Another side to being a Joe fan

Thank you for easing this person's passing on to his next journey.  So often today people in medicine are not allowed the time to put a human face/touch into the practice of their profession - the fact that you made that time available for this man speaks volumes for the type of person and physician you are.  I so wish more could be like you.  Thank you.
