Topic: R.I.P. Bobby Parker

Here's what Caveman wrote on facebook  "

Just heard of Bobby Parker's passing from Joe Bonamassa. I'm sad but really pleased to have brought some life into his old songs by introducing them to Joe and Robert Cray and recutting them with both those artists, and I know it made Bobby feel relevant again. I spoke to Bobby a few times and was trying to do something with him, but it didn't work out. Rock In Peace Bobby - we'll raise a glass of "purple drangk" to you tonight. Cheers!! "

I was facebook friends with Bobby and had some chats with him. He was thrilled to have Joe's attention.  Rest in Peace and join the big band up there. As it happens I am listening to that song this very moment. Very poignant.
