Topic: DTTD songs

Will Joe eventually perform all of the songs from DTTD?  I'm thinking of A Place in My Heart and Somewhere Trouble Don't go.  I love everything he's doing but would especially like to see these.  I haven't missed videos of those, have I?

Watching RAH DVDs now, getting excited about 2 concerts in November! big_smilebig_smile
It seems like forever since I've seen Joe.

I'm addicted.

Thanks Jane.
You seem to have a good read on Joe!  I'm thrilled to listen to him play anything...just being greedy in wanting everything from him!

Are you Richmond or Roanoke-bound next month?

I'm addicted.

Re: DTTD songs

Caniac,  If you look around there are some threads on here that talk about what songs you most want Joe to play if he changes the set list.    I too love all the songs on DTTD.  Probably because it came out  right after I saw Joe live for the first time.  Right now my favorite album is Sloe Gin and favorite song is Dirt in my Pocket.  Would love to see that one live.  but doubt it will happen.  Another reason I am excited for the 4 dvd's from London.  Lots of old songs played.

I can't speak for Joe but the pattern appears to be  he plays several songs from the most current projects and then the songs that we the fans just don't want to live without. ( songs like The Ballad of John Henry, Sloe Gin, Dust Bowl and Midnight Blues. etc)

I am pretty amped to see what he plays for the Fall  US tour.  I know the sets he has played in Europe have included Song of Yesterday from BCC. and Someday after awhile from tour with Beth Hart.   I totally hope to see those.  But whatever Joe decides is fine with me.  I know for sure that watching him in person will be stellar and I will love every minute and then it will be over in a flash.  Keep the faith.  He may do a greatest hits tour someday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: DTTD songs

Too many Joe favorites too little show time !Guess that's the whole Tour De Force concept

Your rock candy baby
Your hard sweet and sticky

Re: DTTD songs

Jane, I remember you saying that before.  Too Bad.  I still think the riff on that song is the best thing ever.  I should edit my previous comments about greatest hits show.  Think the gigs in London would qualify as the greatest hits ever shows

Re: DTTD songs

DTTD is my all time favorite Joe CD. I have listened to it sooo many times. I would love it if Joe would do all the songs but I am happy with Dislocated Boy, Look Who's Talking and Driving Towards the Daylight. I too would love to hear some of the other songs from the CD. But happy with any thing he plays!
