Excellent review of that night Michael. I have this on my frequent play list. Standing just to Michael's left about 5 feet with Joe right in front of us. That "Oh Yeah!" is mine as he hit the first notes and I knew what was coming, just not WHAT was coming. Maggie's tears, Michael's Wow, Wow, Wow and assorted OMG's interspersed in the mix. Rick, I have watched this video many times.  Thanks for sharing it.  At one point it seems to me Joe's fingers are glowing because they are moving so fast and furious.  Hope Joe realizes what a masterpiece moment this was

Last night we watched the Shepherd Bush Empire DVD.   I was afraid that after the Borderline DVD that it would be a bit of a let down.  But I forgot that Joe B brings it no matter what.  The red shoes should have been a tip off that Blues insanity was going to reign.   It seemed to me that Joe was bending those guitars with his mind blowing talent.  He seemed so happy.  Loved Lee's horns and Arlan's keys as well.  High points for me personally was Chains and Things. Wow so wish he would play this again.  Stop and The Great Flood have to be the best versions of each I have heard.  The rest was not bad either smile

So excited when I read you had gotten yours today smile since the email said ships Nov 1 I wasn't expecting it until next week.  I was estimating it would probably arrive to me on Tuesday, I won't need to watch the dvds that day because I'll be seeing Joe in Louisville Tuesday night. Now there's hope I might get before the weekend or even Monday smile I'm anxious to see the picture book, I'm assuming it's Christie Goodwin's photos?

Well...had I waited 12 hrs before asking about the Box Set shipping date...

Mine just arrived!! (10/31).  And my M&G question was answered as well...with a letter of instructions enclosed (as was mentioned previously in the thread by samjp4.)

Well packed. Amp detail looks good.

There it dangles...sealed...on the end of a stick!
