Topic: My YouTube JB fanvid

I put quite a bit of work into this fan video... I hope you enjoy it!

I assembled some of Joe's top 10 blues album choices,
fan quotes,
JB quotes (with dates),
fan photos,
M&G and concert photos,
Joe's priceless input on guitar gear,
and how Joe has influenced me as a guitar player..

The background is HighWaterEverywhere, I recorded the rhythm track, and did some soloing over it... set to loop. Makes it easy to ignore while you watch the slideshow and read the quotes. cool

Great job Nic! Really fun to watch!  You have another talent....making videos!  I will never ever forget you taking requests at the Crossroads party and Iowa show for Joe songs.  Both were priceless performances wink   Your Goldie is a beauty for sure! This video makes me so happy and I love seeing Lil' Joe in it!  I am a total gear head about my guitar lol  I do believe it possesses magical powers...the Mo-Joe is infused in it thanks to the ultimate gear head geek Joe wink

My viewcount is stuck at 301+ sad

Plus I'm unsure if it needed to be bonatube2013 with or without a space?

I'm pretty sure it is without spaces, but there is also something a little strange because in the video responses on the contest channel page there is some guy who has over 104,000 views with his "Joe inspired Gutar licks", but his was uploaded on June 1, 2011 which is way before the starting date of April 10 2013. So I would wonder how he could even have entered. I would hope they would make sure that everyone who entered uploaded within the proper time period.

That user probably just changed the title of his old YouTube video to BonaTube2013. I hope the contest judges for this know their stuff! LOL

Yes, but I warned everyone that the way I read the "rules", it clearly interprets itself to myself as ANY video produced ("made") WHENEVER was eligible...So I don't think anyone (including "leader") is beyond receiving yet more BonaBAH's! wink

Looking through the rules, it looks pretty clear:

2. Only videos uploaded to YouTube after April 10th 2013 and before the cut-off date of July 10th 2013 are eligible. Videos uploaded outside of these bonatube2013 start/end dates are appreciated, but not eligible for this contest.

So a video outside the time period can be submitted, but technically would not be eligible.

Wonder when and how they will announce the winners? My one of Joe with Warren Haynes from the beacon has 15,989 right now. Would be really exciting to win a prize. There is someone else with a vid from the RAH with over 40,000 views. I think that's the highest one that is in the allotted time span.

Not necessarily strange. When a video hits 301+ videos, it forces YouTube to check and see if they were all "quality views," so if it came up on a page for 1 second and was refreshed, that that would not count as a view. Pretty standard, but it should only take a day to do. It's been like this for a while... that part is strange!
