Re: BonaVegas

Driving Towards the Daylight. Thanks to Natasha for the audio. I subbed Phil's superior audio in place of the camera to see if it makes a difference on you tube. His rolls in at about the 30 second mark and on to the end. Please comment, this is an experiment and I had to play with level balance and dynamic range adjustments to equalize the two sources. The vid is a bit less than ideal but the audio is what I'm going for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXVsGquXnGc

Sounds good to me. I was trying to compare it with the audio in my vid since the cameras are virtually identical, and I think yours now has a clearer more fuller sound.

Thanks for the feedback. It is a definite improvement over the gaggle of yakkers, whistlers and screamers I was surrounded with. Makes me crazy when folks think they need to add comments and personal exhibitionism to Joe's show. sad

Re: BonaVegas

If anyone is interested, I put the whole show on a playlist in it's proper order so you can see it from beginning to end. The only song I don't have in there is Django because I screwed up that video.

Re: BonaVegas

Well, that would be really great, Natasha! I am more than interested because it will be a past heavenly Vegas JoeBofeeling for me. By the way: Hearing Django the very first time made me a fan for my whole lifetime. Nevertheless it is to be regretted that exactly that one now will be missing...
Can't wait to enjoy it from the beginning to your end!!!

Re: BonaVegas

Here is a laugher from Joe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1mWOjBsMyDs His BonaVegas chat. Next up from me is Django and Mountain Time which was incredible. Some of my close up action on the fretboard for the players so they can see exactly how he does those volume swells and stuff.

Thanks, something very special from Joe`s introduction to his concert in  "BonaVegas". Those  funny episodes show Joe`s humor and complete the epic vids and pics from there. Glad, you posted it, Rick!

Time to send you some virtual kisses and hugs for your post, Rick!!!

Couldn`t be better, the best Joevid for me I ever saw until now, v e r y close. Hearing this Django/Mountain Time version was building bridges not to better days but to hearing the very first time where I got overwhelmed and became a JBfollower forever and ever...

Loved the photos, Natasha and the entire acoustic set, Rick as well! Quite near to the maestro himself and his magic fingers and playing. He wore a wonderful shirt and my dream is to attend one of his next evenings in completely white or perhaps with the red "Stuttgart Shoes"?! My first Joe show in Darmstadt (2009) began in white jeans with black shoes...

Black shoes??? Not when he played there in July: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKzLOVTbw38

Loved the closeup perspective you had on that Django. That was really cool. I imagine it helped that Joe was standing still. I find it's so hard to stay up close when he's walking all over the place. As Pete said, there needs to be a Joe tracking app smile

W o w..., thanks for the Just Got Paid vid from the Centralstation: Most impressive, Bonapostle!

It brang back sweet memories of my first Joe evening exactly completely white dressed inclusive the belt and shoes! You were right. Those white shoes would have fitted very well to Joe`s  Bonavegas suit, perhaps next year at BonaVegas II, just a thought...

Reenjoyed the Sloe Gin version from Darmstadt some minutes ago, epic...

That is no lie. It takes practice and luck to keep him in the frame when zoomed. He rarely sits still for long.  I lke to feed the players some of that fretboard wizardry when I can. They need some love and glimpses of the master's secrets too.
