Welcome to the forum. Your sound issue is a dead zone that is found in quite a few halls. I've experienced similar in several venues. Next time try to get a seat more centrally located in the hall. Even back a ways is usually good if you are in the middle and often the first few rows of the balcony are very good. There might be some comments on yelp to help you choose a better seat next time.

Hi and welcome. I tend to sit near to or beside the sound booth. If they can't get it right there there is definitely a problem. Too close the stage can really aggrevate my tinitus and I have to use accoustic earplugs. It's ok but defeats tye object of up close and personal.  big_smile

It would have been a perfect concert for me if the sound had been clearer.

Sounds like others had the problem I mentioned in my initial post. I was sitting in Section 103, Seat I-8. That was the first time Joe played in San Jose. I think it might be my first & last concert in San Jose. hmm

I hope not! It should be an easy fix to just turn a  few knobs and reduce the distortion. I was hoping Joe would plan to come back after he remarked what a great crowd it was. It really is a nice size theater for this type of show.
