Loving the tasteful pin stripe, and even a pocket square!  How GQ.

You go, Joe.  Nothing but class.

Rick, we are all so indebted to you.

Re: THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2

OK Sally, here is more of that GQ Joe. DTTD, imo the best version I've ever heard. Doug on backup vocals and Arlan getting his organ face on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sS4Mody3Dk
Glad you like them because I take as much joy in filming and sharing them as you do watching. I sit here looking at a pile of chips with over 7 hours of precious London memories. What next....?

My personal favorite from the night. Django/Mountain Time on the Dark Lord EBMM. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMP84wR6DYk
Sorry the last few seconds got chopped. I was running the battery to the end hoping I had enough. Not to be.

Rick, hope you are feeling better. Just watched mountain time.  Speechless! Words fail me. Perfection is all I can say.  This will be the video, I use to explain my bonaddiction. Thank you

Finally getting around to finishing up my pictures:

I think I have been putting them off because I didn't want the magic of that week to end.  This was an awesome show, but I truly think that the first RAH will always have pride of place in my heart.  Joe and the entire cast of characters were in rare form for this one, and the guest guitarists were appropriately enough actually guitars.  I had expected a slightly different setlist but enjoyed thoroughly all that was played.  Hearing "Around the Bend" was completely sublime.

I know a few people had comments about the sound.  We went on the tour before the show and soundcheck was going on - and it was STILL going on when we returned for dinner at 6:30.  RAH is notorious for being a soundman's nightmare (as our tourguide so graciously explained), and you can't say they didn't try.

A lot of thanks are due to Phil and David for being such gracious hosts and excellent procurers of tickets for all of the gigs we went to, and another thanks to all the friends from near and far who made the whole week so special.

So, what's next?

"There's a lot of people that are in so much of a hurry to be, I guess, to be famous or that they don't want to take the time to learn to play and do all that. They'd rather just knock it down off a computer and maybe get on a game show and get famous..That's fine if that's what you want to do.
"We're more old school than that. We like creating the sounds."  - Tom Petty

I enjoyed the pictures, Sandy. Thanks for sharing.

Re: THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL 2

I was fortunate enough to score tickets for the RAH this time around, amazing show, highlight for me was Joe using Rory's strat and The Beast, so  got to see three blues rock legends that night!
