Re: Letter to Sweet Rowena made up of 67 Joe song titles

Jane, Thanks for finding this. Yes, you were right I was (very) busy when Natasha made this terrific post. I wonder what other posts I missed that week? Let’s see, what was I doing at the time Natasha posted this? Ah yes, I was first in the queue at the Apollo and had just been joined by Michael and Patty. big_smile  I was going to say how cold it was standing out there for hours, but it was positively tropical compared to what’s happening Stateside this week. yikes

Your pulling of this thread to the top is another of those amazing Forum coinkydinks as I’d been thinking about my previous effort on the morning I saw this one. Every now and again I think I’ll have to have another go at the next instalment. Maybe next vacation.

Natasha, I really enjoyed your post and I had a big smile the whole time I was reading it. You did amazingly well to get all those titles in such a short story that actually made sense. As you may have realised from the subsequent posts in my thread, Jockey Full of Bourbon and Funkier Than a Mosquito’s Tweeter hadn’t appeared when I wrote my story and I was wondering how I’d incorporate them into a future instalment. You managed it seamlessly. Well done! smile  You’ve set the bar at a high level if I ever find the time to put pen to paper again.

Mary, As mentioned in my previous thread, I wrote the story over several days while sunning myself on vacation. My wife never did find out what I was doing and she kept saying “what are you doing over there, writing your life story?” lol I can assure you that story was a lot more interesting than any autobiography I could write. Hmmm, now there’s a thought …….
