Re: The Borderline

Thanks a million times over Pete...one of my all time Joe favorites...it had been a long time since I last heard it live, was so glad Joe included it in the set.

Re: The Borderline

Here are the first four songs from the Borderline. 24 minutes of uninterrupted power trio goodness.
This is dedicated to the London gang who made it such a fun event for me and Helen. Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled. You will see and hear the joy and amazement of many long-time Forum stalwarts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl … Lohm9JS1rc

edit: this stops once or twice for some reason, just hit the replay and it takes off where it stopped. Probably due to the length.

Re: The Borderline

That was really cool, Rick. Nice to see it flow from one song to the other. I swear everytime I see that Blues Deluxe, it just blows me away! What a show you all got to see!

I have all the songs from Borderline on my y/t channel and he didn't play that one. I remember one song was played twice for Caveman's video shoot since the first take had some glitch, so maybe that was why it was omitted.

Glad to help. I think IIRC, the redo was Story of a Quarryman in the second set. Joe came on and remarked that a redo was in order. The entire set was epic and no one minded the replay. tongue

Re: The Borderline

I can't believe it's come round so quickly. One year ago today I was standing (shivering) outside The Borderline with several Forum Buddies from the UK and around the world, some of whom didn't have tickets for the show, but it was great fun as always. The face value I paid for a ticket was the most I've ever paid but it was worth it for something totally unique and not likely to be repeated anytime soon, if ever.

Watch out for RoadcaseBoys' epic March thread in the "On This Day in Bonahistory" series on the General Forum.

Thankfully, it's a lot warmer here this year. smile
