..thanks Bud! ...i'm p$$ed off! ..got some great footage but the vocal audio is all pi$$ed! ...not bothering to post any more, just wanted to upload P&S for Jane really!?  ...floor monitors would have 'filled' out things a bit more considering location! ...my footage only suits 'Deluxe' cos' of the breaks when Joe sings! ...great gig but i'm slightly disappointed as its turned out so to speak!

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Re: The Borderline

Thanks for the uploads, you guys are the best and so quick!  If anyone uploaded The River I sure would enjoy watching that.

Sounds like an amazing night was had by all.  Do we have a roll call of forum Bonabuddies who were there - Michael, Maggie, RickB, Pete, Roy, Bill, Patty, Kenny, Phil ++??  I so wish I could have been there with you all but was there in spirit.

Can anyone say what the audience make up was?  Any "celebs" or just 200 very happy Joe fans?

This Sandy wasn't there - we stopped by to visit all the good friends waiting in line but did not go to the show.  I know you can add Eva and Kenny to that list of who was there.

Enjoying the vids - thanks guys.

Re: The Borderline

okay gathered myself now after than (lost for words) one word reply! The tone on that Strat on P&S really makes up for the shortcomings of the vocal recording, - that really is an awesome clip in its own right.

Awesome video Pete - don't get too critical on yourself - remember what equipment you are using - compare this to old bootlegs of the 70's - no comparison!!!!

Re: The Borderline

Don't sweat the vocals audio Pete. One of the best renditions of Blues Deluxe of all time? I'll take it. I haven't had a chance to look at mine yet. Yours is super!
Rick
edit: I just watched it. Wow, Maggie is a star. I was right in a knot of the London crew. She was overcome with emotion at the start since this song is the one that sent her on down the road. I'll have it up later. Vocals are ok so I must have been in a better zone. Joe was sure in the zone! wink

Read Rick's second sentence (after eliminating the ?), pal !  YOU GOT IT!!! It's not always about the whole kit and kaboodle, nor perfection, it is just about the best, and especially the best intention and best rendition of the performers' performance! wink  Take the Hall of Fame and scrap others!  No big.  You are fantastic, so keep going.

That. Was. Amazing.  Joe on fire at his absolute best.  I honestly thought he was going to wring the life out of that guitar, I've never heard or seen a better version, absolutely the finest ever.

Thanks for filming this Pete.  I can almost read Joe's jeans size you were that close big_smile
