You can try asking GC support at twitter. This is the tweet from them a month ago:

I think it is taking them longer than they expected to go through so many entries. Also, JB is very busy with touring. But, my speculation is just like all the posts above- Just Guessing!

I just checked that Courtney Stookey's twitter, and she posted this on 23 June:

"@cedric_siegers @Jcazmusic I'm sorry but the winners are being contacted now. Once all necessary paperwork is filled out, they will be"

From the way that sounds, if you were a finalist, you would have been contacted a few weeks ago.

geez i'm sorry guys ,i should have looked closer,yeah,i would think whoever won would have been contacted by now,i havent been, and i sure thought i was a top ten contender  :-)

Yeah...something is odd with the scoring or I've missed something. I entered the very last week. Had over 3000 points and was in the top 100 as of the official deadline. I don't get it. It clearly said that there was no advantage to early entry and they *each week* 10 would be chosen based on the score. I mean, there is a guy that has 70,000 points which seems impossible and a guy with 700. I am totally baffled...

Oh well, still had fun doing it.

So Joe fans, What does everyone think of the finalists? Many of you have looked through the bulk of the entrants. Why do you think these were chosen? They obviously chose who they thought fit best. I mean there were several with 10-50k points. Why these 10?
Just curious what all you guitar players think. Honestly there were only a couple of guys I saw that made me go WOW. And none of them are in the top10!

BTW, I am not ticked or anything, just curious what you think...

This 10 finalist were not chosen by joe this finalists are crap!!
I already saw the videos and the only one i like was the first one everyone else were crap there was still more good player in the contests i dont know why do they chose them.
Im going to be very ruse but specially that Steve Balkun.... He plays like **## i dont see where they saw the talent. Wathever this is the last time i trust to this contests because obviously this was not hand picked by joe he is not stupid... #### guitarcenter!
