Here's a link to a nice article about John Campbell in Blues Matters magazine from a couple of months ago:

I too wish Electra would re-issue his music ... not enough people know about and appreciate him, nor does he have his rightful place in blues history.   He was the real thing.

I think a re-issue wouldn´t make sense, because you can still get them!
But it´s sad, there´s no - official - Dvd!
Because it´s the only way to imagine, how good he was.

Maybe this sad date in June could be a reason for a Dvd...
There so many needless Videos, but real (blues)music is rare...

This article I´ll read next weekend, you know my english is not so good and so it´s "work" for me...

Re: John Campbell

It is a shame Wolf there's no official dvd.  Wish his wife Dolly would have followed up with something like that for his legacy.  I believe the fate of his music is still in limbo, no agreements between the record label, his widow, and his two daughters, one of whom is not Dolly's daughter.  I've seen a lot of his yt videos removed from fb for copyright infringement.  His daughter I talked with was very upset because she wanted to promote her father's legacy.

Don't ask me why but I was devastated to learn his wife sold that 1934 Standard right after he died, and disposed of that beautiful jacket he was wearing in Milan.  Not my business but didn't like it all the same.

Zonder Kennedy, the other guitarist, was quite good as well.  I looked him up the other day thinking perhaps he had gone on to fame but he's still playing locally in New York.

They were a great band, solid together, but John definitely stood out as the star.

Enjoy the article.  Your English seems good to me!
