Just wondered if anybody got an gear for Christmas. We can post here about our loot. I'll start

Yeah, New "Gun" Day. Christmas present to myself. Needed something smaller to carry for self defense.
No new guitar stuff for Christmas...just a few 30 round mags before they are all gone & banned
iRig for my iPhone. Works great, sounds great and a Jimi Hendrix 2013 calendar, which will decorate my music room and inspire me ;-)
Gun stuff: me too! Gotta prepare for the bans. Spent way too much. But the safe is filled out nicely.
Guitar stuff: none
Cleaning up my pedal mess... Got a PedalTrain2 board, VoodooLabs power supply - oh yeah, and a Bonamassa Wah-Wah! 
Also, and I'm waiting for the slings and arrows of the tone purists, picked up a few more iStomp pedals. I just love these little rascals!

Yamaha THR10C practise amp. I never cease to be amazed by the tones that come out of that little box. For my taste in music this amp has more usable models than the THR10 I bought a few months ago. The poor old Peavey Classic 30 doesn't get a look in these days.

Pretty disheartening.
To get back on track ...... I didn't get any gear but got my granddaughter a ukulele so she can shred with me. She loves playing with my guitars but is only 4 and a half so she can't reach all the way up the neck. She's having a blast with the new axe. Even has the facial expressions down pat. Maybe next year I can get her the pink 3/4 strat and a little amp so we can jam out as she loves to say. The next Joe maybe?
So glad I live in the UK right now...(and I don't even particularly like the UK at the moment, but do like the lack of guns)

Back to a more positive note (and the original intent of this thread) - My wife got me a really cool chair specifically designed to play guitar on (with the foot rest and adjustable height etc.). Quite comfortable and I sat in it and played for an hour on boxing day. I also got a nice leather guitar strap...
Mines was pretty mundane on the gear front as far as it was more of a necessity than a lusted after bit of gear, just a Boss TU-3 which was badly needed
New cuff-links were the most pleasant surprise oddly enough, I'll be looking pretty sharp on New Years eve folks I won't lie 
I got a $50 Guitar Center gift card, which I used for a set of EB Cobalts (been meaning to try them) and a used MXR Badass '78 Distortion pedal. I haven't had a distortion pedal on the 'board for a long time, but I wanted something with some real edge. I liked this one a lot, and for the used price of $39 it was hard to beat.
Not gear, but I got a kick **** live Lucinda Williams album "Too Cool To Be Forgotten," which was recorded for a radio show right before Car Wheels came out. Jim Lauderdale is sitting in with her band. Also finally got around to getting Hendrix's "Valleys of Neptune" which is pretty cool.
No new gear, just wanted to say that I think it's best to leave the gun stuff as well as the judgmental attitudes out of Joe's forum.
