"Everybody Hurts" by REM

And "Knockin On Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan. Had just gotten word to rush to the hospital for my dad turned on the radio and this was the first thing I heard. Knew it was an omen and turned it off and can't listen to the song without remembering my dad.

Your story about your dad reminded me a similar situation when my wife lost our son to stillbirth.  The song "Tears From Heaven" was on the radio at the time and to this day I won't listen to it.

Brickyard Road - Johnny Van Zant

The song has much meaning to me and always brings tears to my eyes but also gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Remembering lost love ones through music is a powerful thing.
