Topic: Joe: Some help...San Luis Obispo Show 21+????

Our friends want to bring their 19 YO musician son to this show, and realized it was 21+ after purchasing the tickets (their mistake). I'm hoping someone out there can help get the message to Joe (since I'm sure he would like as many younger fans to get into seeing the real deal).

We already called the club and they said they won't let him in.  I looked on their website and I know they do have 18+ shows.

Is there any way to get this show changed to 18+? He will be with his parents and not drinking.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hey Everybody,

I just wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know that with Joe's influence, we were able to get Travis into the club and he was quite impressed with Joe's performance and his music.  He was especially impressed with the acoustic part of the show. No surprise, the whole show was great.  I love the new music.

Also, it was great to meet and talk to you J Dawg.  Hope to hook up with you at another show in the near future.

We're still on our little California adventure and it's been a flurry of activity.  I would have posted sooner, but we were in Yosemite Park where we had no internet connection.  I should be back in Florida on Sunday and will post more about the show and the pictures my boyfriend took of the band during the show.

A million thanks to you Joe.  I feel like a very privileged fan and I really can't thank you enough for making our California vacation extra special.

Thank you Susan, it was a blast to meet you and your friends and very cool that Travis got in. I would assume by the look on Joe's face when Travis asked if he would autograph the pick that it was probably the first time he was asked to do that, and of course he obliged. I'm a little road weary as I just rolled in from the mtns. myself and will save my tales for another post soon.

Hey J Dawg,

I forgot about the pick autograph.  You're right.  The look on Joe's face was priceless.  Where is that camera when you need it?  LMAO!!!

Looking forward to hearing about your tales.  I have posted a bit about the SLO show along with pictures under "Show Review  & Set Lists". 

That club was the perfect venue to see Joe play.  We talked to so many nice people. There was a guy standing next to us that said his wife bought him a ticket for his birthday.  It was his first time seeing Joe and he was completely blown away. No surprise there.

What a great night!!!
