Footnote to RCFP review: there is something unbelievably special when a musician plays that which he truly loves and enjoys. There is an energy, a vibe that comes through and touches everyone, not only the other musicians, who obviously share this same love, but it also extends to the audience who are there to experience it with them. Thank you Joe, Tal, Ron, Renato and Mike for allowing us to share with you your love of this music. It truly was a magical experience.

Edit, to emphasize Natasha's postscript, I was chatting with Renato after the first set last night and told him my impression was that they were playing with joy. He smiled, nodded and agreed. It was magic of the first order going on. After the last set finished, Joe was out back in the gentle rain leaning on the storage shed and a fan remarked how he had been on fire. Joe said he had nothing left and struggled to finish. His blazing riffs and solos were at the top of his game last night. Dope On A Rope was really cool with Joe and Ron cutting loose and firing off licks in a classic no holds barred duel. The crowd went wild. Ron can hang with the best.  There is no star in RFCP. They're All Stars!

Just got home and transferring video files to upload. Internet is slow and first one will be ready by morning. Camera did really well in the low light and the first video will be first song from second set, second night with absolutely killer solo by Joe halfway through song.

As in "Ode To G(ee)"!  How about some 1,000 words supposedly worth 1 picture reviews?  Without audio video factual presentations, How's about some "written opinion", know as a classic "review?!" Then the audio video as "footnotes".  A zillion + 1 is still one "more" than a plain old "zillion!"
