Re: Aynsley Lister

Lee. Thanks so much for the link. I have it under Favorites. Now, I just have to remember! But, having the option to listen later reduces the anxiety. Shoo!... Cathy

Re: Aynsley Lister

Hello folks, good old Google Alert pointed me in the direction of this post - just wanted to say how thrilled I was to see it and shall be passing along the link to the man himself!  Also thought I'd mention that the Kansas City gig is in support of the incredible Anthony Gomes - now that's one not to miss if you can get there.  Just in case you think I don't bother any more - I'm still spreading the Bonagospel over here!!

Also Cathy, I have issues with the new album too, it's a very mixed bag for me but it's getting him the more widespread attention that the others didn't manage - and maybe the Blues Caravan tour last year has also helped with that - so I can live with it.  The first time I heard him sing 'With Me Tonight' (live, from 2 feet away!) I almost fainted!! Sooo unlike him to get anywhere near that subject matter LOL.

Re: Aynsley Lister

Hi Britbabe,

I wondered what ever happened to you.  You are the one who turned me on to Aynsley in the first place.  I remember your funny story about driving all those miles with a birthday cake to a Bonamassa show. Glad to see your still standing by all your men. wink

Re: Aynsley Lister

The tour for '08 is in the planning stage. If you are an Aynsley fan and want a show near you, contact his US agent with the name of the venue. Also let the venue know that as a patron, this is a show you want. Her name is Jo-Ann Freda, with Ruf Publicity USA.............joannfreda@optonline.net      Cathy

Re: Aynsley Lister

Hi Geko. I've been looking for a European rep but don't have any info other than US rep. I would suggest you go to his web site and click "contact". They were very good about connecting me to Aynsley's rep. Hope this helps,   Cathy

Re: Aynsley Lister

I'm sorry to have to report that Aynsley will NOT be in the mid-west opening for Chris Duarte in September (The only US dates this year!)......He didn't get his visa.....Don't know who to blame or what else to say...that would be polite.......Cathy

He should have just came across from Mexico. He wouldn't have had any problem there. big_smile
