Broken pencils are pointless.
Or.....Velcro - what a rip off!

No but I was bored and thought people might like a giggle.
How I wish you were here
I have become comfortably numb
Im making a career of evil
We don't get fooled again
I can't get no satisfaction
I can't find my way home
I know I'm not playing along...this thread's too long to make sure any contribution I make wouldn't be a repetition.
But it does remind me of a pretty decent book. The title alone is great.

Appreciate the search tips, Jane. I've used it from time to time, and agree it has its quirks. Yet is reasonably useful. True for most of the forum search functions I've ever used.
Now, I think this is "fresh"...I know her latest CD is. Joan Osborne, performing "I Don't Need No Doctor".

JBFan,
The guy that wrote that book use to live in my town. There was an article in the local paper about his book, which I read and made a post about here.

Thanks for sharing thread, I enjoyed.
I spent waaay to much time going through these to see if mine was posted.
The first thing that came to mind was....
"One man gathers what another man spills"
And lost count of your words...
Did not check for repeats, but double-check on my word count;
Can you see the real me?
Rock ON & Keep the Faith,

I did realize that afterwards but never cared much for rules.
No worries! 50% of the people ignore either the 6 words or less part or the lyrics that "speak for themselves" part or both.
Careless about rules? I know nuthin' 'bout that sorta thang...
"...I was trailed by 20 hounds".

Sounds like a revision of Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground, which is
Powers, keep on lyin'...
To which I will add the next line (tell it like it is Stevie);
While your people keep on dyin'
Rock ON & Keep the Truthful, Living Faith you design...,

Anywhere you run, I'll be waiting. (From Anthony Gomes's tune on Up 2 Zero)
