I recently woke up with a pinched nerve in my mid-back that took my breath away. It was connected to my neck in some manner that made me miserable to even turn my head to back my car out of the garage. So, I made my first trip to the Chiropractor. As the chiropractor worked on my back, the only thing I could think of was "It Hurts So Good" (John Mellencamp) In order to occupy my mind in my Current Situation, I began analyzing lyrics. I couldn't come up with too many 4 word lyrics from a song, except Born To Be Wild and Eight Days A Week, which both lose a little of the emphasis when taken out of context.

Like many lyrics, they can have different meanings to different people in different situations. The Eagles line, my hubby thinks refers to Tiffany the real expensive jeweler and he's probably right since the next line is about driving a Mercedes. Me, I had never even heard of the jeweler when Hotel California was popular, so I thought it referenced the replicas of the artist Tiffany's complex glass creations. My grandmother use to collect Tiffany lamps and give them for presents, so I always liked them.

I learned that George Harrison's Mom Louise gave him the final line to complete Piggies that he was stumped on...What they need is a damn good whacking. (just so it rhymed with lacking)
