Ruf's Blues Caravan showcase tour for 2013 has been announced and dates for the first leg of the tour are coming in.

Giving the Girls With Guitars a rest after a successful 2 year run, this time it's Tomorrow's Guitar Heroes turn, featuring Joanne Shaw Taylor, Jimmy Bowskill and Bart Walker.

I'd expect so, and the UK  and maybe even the US again.

Dates are only just starting to come in, so keep an eye on the website for Blues Caravan 2013.

Both are good venues.
Bonn is nice but for someone from the Ruhrpott Dortmund is first choice. That's the venue where probably a number of Ryan fans will be and of course the Bluespapst.

Only ONE day: Fabrik - Hamburg

Really hope they'll have a save travel from Munich to Hamburg. It's a long ride thru ice and snow . . .

Can't wait to see Joanne Shaw Taylor and Jimmy Bowskill again and Bart Walker for the first time.

So this is also verification that Joanne Shaw Taylor will not be opening for Eric Johnson in the UK in April then. This is very disappointing.

Jimmy Bowskill (as one of the 3 JB´s in Bonn) and Joanne Shaw Taylor I have seen before, but a big surprise at Harmonie, Bonn for me was Bart Walker!
He looks a very little bit like Jerry Garcia and his playing and singing reminded me a bit of a young Warren Haynes, very talented young man!

Tomorrow is Blues Caravan Day at Piano, Dortmund.

My expectations are so high!
From the youtube videos I've seen it seems that Bart Walker is the ice on the cake!

Leaving in 2 hours with Rudi ,Blues Sissi. Carre ticket for you already in the pocket, so I won't forget it!! There meeting Manni and Tan Ya having  dinner in a very good  Italian restaurant and after that the show. Celebrating Joanne's birthday (13th) after the show with JB wine!! Booked a hotel, so no problems driving back.
Seeing you and all the others, what a great night to start this weeks holiday!!!

3 guitar players let the dogs out! Young & wild at heart! Guitar hell-fire!!!
Joanne, Bart & Jmmy were brilliant - but to be honest, the concert left me back a little exhausted.

Big get-together before and after the show smile all in all a great evening.
