HI Bill - No, I don't think we've met - we've been to Shank and Oneida often, but now I don't see anything scheduled for Joe at Shank - what's up with that?

I'm not speaking on authority here, just a general observation at both the Oneida shows as welll as Shank Hall. They are getting so over crowded he needs a larger venue.
Joe will no longer be doing the 3 to 4 night free shows at the Casino lounge either from what I have heard. The last shows at the Casino were the last ones in the lounge. He's moving to the larger performance hall. (All right Joe!!!) It looks like he will be in Green Bay for two nights, last time I looked at the schedule.
Hope to see you there. I'm the short redhead with the JB hoody. Not to be confused with Joan... the other short redhead who always has her dancing shoes on!  smile
I've been on both the old and new forum. Same user name. I didn't post a lot on the old one though.

Julie,
I think you're right, a change is in the air. I have noticed a progression in Joe's shows, audiences growing, lots more theater type performances. The recent Elgin show sold out to over 700 people, Shank Hall holds 300. I think this is what we've all wanted: everybody else in the world to know what we know; Joe is the best guitarist on the planet!

I think so too Bill,
I'm very excited for Joe.

Sad for me, because it will be more difficult for me to be able to talk to him at the shows, but I can barely get a few words out of my mouth anyway. Usually still awestruck!  smile

I think it is about time everyone has an opportunity to see what a great artist as well as a great person Joe is!

Re: old and new?

Another old & new guy here.  Same name.

I lurk most of the time, these days.  Just one of those things.  Don't have much to add to the discussion.  Love Joe, enjoy the posts, lookin' forward to the next album.  Same old same.
