Topic: old and new?

Was just wondering, how many of the old forum people were now on the new forum. I am not new to this forum here, but do not post like I did on the old forum..... And was wondering if the old forum people could give a yell out an get a tally goin.

Re: old and new?

Hey geob- I posted on the old forum... I think I posted under Scott or something like that- I dont really remember it was such a long time ago!  Those were some different times- when Joe was still truly "underground"  I had some fun on the old forum.  I still remember how much of a shock it was to log into the old forum that one last time and get directed to the new one.

I was on the old forum but only for about 6 months. Same user name. I didn't post nearly as much on there as I do here.

Re: old and new?

Yep old & new too. I was a regular visitor here before the old forum was added to this website. Same user name.

Re: old and new?

Old and new for me too. Same name.
Last year I am more often on the new forum. Before that I played a lot of indoor football, actually soccer, 3/4 times a week , but than I got a bad injury at my ankle and can never run again. ( played competition for 43 years)
So I'm more into Joe now.

Re: old and new?

Jane, thanks for that post. It was really what my point was, for me the change never happened, I was happy with the family type thing. But nothing ever stays the same. Rock on........

Jaci, been to 6 shows at Shank Hall, but don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting.

Re: old and new?

HI Bill - No, I don't think we've met - we've been to Shank and Oneida often, but now I don't see anything scheduled for Joe at Shank - what's up with that?

I'm not speaking on authority here, just a general observation at both the Oneida shows as welll as Shank Hall. They are getting so over crowded he needs a larger venue.
Joe will no longer be doing the 3 to 4 night free shows at the Casino lounge either from what I have heard. The last shows at the Casino were the last ones in the lounge. He's moving to the larger performance hall. (All right Joe!!!) It looks like he will be in Green Bay for two nights, last time I looked at the schedule.
Hope to see you there. I'm the short redhead with the JB hoody. Not to be confused with Joan... the other short redhead who always has her dancing shoes on!  smile
I've been on both the old and new forum. Same user name. I didn't post a lot on the old one though.

Re: old and new?

Hi Julie - I'm still hoping for a Shank Hall show - always had a good time there.  According to Onieda, Joe will only be there one night Nov 5th - but his site shows 2 shows...
Summerfest would also be awesome.

Julie,
I think you're right, a change is in the air. I have noticed a progression in Joe's shows, audiences growing, lots more theater type performances. The recent Elgin show sold out to over 700 people, Shank Hall holds 300. I think this is what we've all wanted: everybody else in the world to know what we know; Joe is the best guitarist on the planet!
