Re: Mato Nanji new cd

I got the samples off iTunes.  I love Indigenous, but the new songs sound like retreads.  Of course this is just my opinion and not meant to be taken as well-informed.

I'm afraid I'm in the same camp regarding Trucks & Co. Then again, he's never really done it for me like so many other fans.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Re: Mato Nanji new cd

Well after reading some so so comments here about the new Indigenous cd I have to say that I love it. The usual brilliance from Mato on guitar, his vocals are sounding better than ever and the songs are all strong. They sound like what they are, kick **** blues/rock band .

Another plus for me is that Horse is back in the band, his percussion work was so huge on the early Indigenous albums and he adds a lot to this new one.

One of my albums of the year so far in 2012.

Got the CD yesterday and it is great!  We have been a fan of Indigenous since 99 when we saw them open for BB King.

Music is good for the Soul...
