A beer and blues festival! Sounds good to me!
I wish we could have that festival here in Scotland but I don't suppose it would be the same with non stop rain!

Oh man! I have to give some serious consideration to attending this gig. Not only is there all this great music, but there is some awesome fly fishing on the local rivers.

Why don't we eliminate all the warning labels and let things sort themselves out?

Um YES! One of the reasons it is a favorite venue. I always go a day or two ahead of time to mix a bit of trout fishing with my  blues and beer.  Check lower Rush Creek in the June Lake loop. Barbless flies 100% release fishery. Take waders, thick willows in the good areas. Beaucoup skeeters too! Lee Vining creek is also good and within a half hour drive. Upper part is rocky and fast with pools, lower meanders through a meadow with good browns in the undercut banks. Wooly buggers are good there. Big nightcrawlers are better. wink
edit: Beware of excessive beer tasting at 8000 ft in the hot sun!!! You can rent a ski condo there for the weekend and go with a gang for pretty cheap lodging within walking distance of the venue. There is free tram service that circulates through town as well.

Come on Murray; an event like this is tailor made for Scotland. In fact, you can improve upon it; swap the beer for whiskey (and who'd notice the rain?).

And I don't fish either!
