Re: Hey JB, here is another 59 Burst for sale!

Yeah but who wants to play a slightly used Harmonica???  We could at least strum the LP evey once and a while. LOL

I agree,  the price is a bit steep...  Cool guitar but I d like a magnifying glass and a good look at that pickguard and M-69 rings.
Im tapped out anyway...  The issue with a celebrity burst is the what does an artist name add to the value?  Because I am looking at a 45 to 60 thousand dollar guitar face value.  I am a huge fan of J Geils and Peter Wolf so don't take that as Im slagging them off.  It really boils down to how much you like that particular artist.  Plus, I have to resume my paper route when I get home so I can keep making the payments on the 3 that I have... LOL

PS   I thought J-- was a flying V guy??  Anywho I hear theres some slightly used Hohner special 20's used by Magic D$&k on EBAY for 249k less... LOL

I had a morning paper route when I was a kid and all I remember buying were hockey skates and bicycle parts..

Speaking of which, the wife is getting a little peeved about finding the sunday paper in the bushes, on the roof, up in the tree...  c'mon man help me out here ;-)

Seriously though... have you ever seen the one that Jimmy Wallace has...he's had it gone over by Tom Murphy, and the guys at Gruhn...  It has a cool story and is less than half of the one described above.  It was re-necked in 1960 with a nice chunky neck, and is just a killer guitar in every way.  I would have loved to pull the trigger but the warden (that would be the wifey) wasn't keen on moving into a card board box.
