Topic: Riders on the Storm

I noticed the other day that Riders on the Storm ( Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek) are coming to my area nest month. Anyone going to see them in their town? Has anyone seen them recently?

They were out here a while back, missed it though, gotta catch up with them. My double disk of the Doors will have to do for now. Maybe Val Kilmer could do an intro, when they come on stage. Hope you caught the movie.

Re: Riders on the Storm

Just bought them yesterday for a May show at the Keswick Theater, in Penna.  I'm really looking forward to it.  Actually, I totally splurged, sometimes I spend money when I'm on edge, it's like a fix.  Also, bought Jonny Lang and Get the Led Out for the third July in a row.  Heading to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd this Saturday in Atlantic City, can't wait.

When my tickets came in the mail for Riders, the venue included a flyer about The Soft Parade - A Doors tribute band.  This link has their touring schedule.

Re: Riders on the Storm

I went to this show last night.  It was EXCELLENT, with 2 original members and the Jim Morrison fill in did a great job.  He had a lot of energy and a really good voice.   Awesome show!   http://www.raymanzarek.us/rots.html
