Re: my old mucker micky lynch

Hey micky two.  Welcome to the forum and to the wonderful world of all things JOE!!  Glad Michael turned you on to Joe and that you have had a few opportunities to see him live.  Be prepared to become addicted to Joe and his rockin' blues.......if you are not already!  Can only imagine that it must be a blast working with Michael.  Just loved his great posts from his Bonamassa UK tour.  His incredible show reports and video clips literally enabled all of us on the forum to travel along with him, so we felt like we were at Joe's shows too.  Michael is the BEST!!!  Enjoy the board and post away!

Re: my old mucker micky lynch

Welcome Micky
Your timing is perfect, you are witnessing rock-n roll history. Your assignment, if you chose to accept is:

1) check in daily on the forum, check the recent post, reply when you feel you the need to
2) spread the word, Joe is making history
3) buy everthing Joe has out, and report any feelings of happiness
4) this is the most important: send some people to Califonia, I need friends!  ( oh forget it, you would of had to read a post I put out a few days ago to understand )

                  Peace.........Shredit

Re: my old mucker micky lynch

Hy Micky, welcome. I met Michael at the Manchester Academy when I went to see Joe for the first time. Stood and chatted to Michael  before the show and next to him whilst he video's Joe from front left side of the stage. Unfortunately my left ear was right next to the speakers and I HAD to move to the back of a packed house otherwise listening to Joe would just be an overpowering memory. Raved about Joe to Michael after the gig and he gave me his phone number to get a copy of the vid. Found out that Joe was playing in my home town and immediately bought 10 tickets the following day and took a load of friends and my video. Did a vid of the whole concert at Pacific Road and sent Michael a copy. He sent one to me and we have been good mates ever since. Michael got me my ticket for Shepherds Bush as I really wasn't sure I could make it with work commitments. I could, he did, we all met at the door at 5pm and the rest is history. just booked some more tickets in August oop north in Yorkshire. Can't wait for more dates as I've got a list as long as my arm of people that are busting a gut to see Joe live. Welcome buddy

Re: my old mucker micky lynch

Hey Micky, welcome to the forums, always good to see new members big_smile

I was at the Sheperds Bush gig aswell, absolutely fantastic wasn't it? I also got to meet joe at that gig and then i arrived at about 6pm to stand in the queue, i must have been about 10th in the line, my dad and i. I remember seeing a group of people at the front of the line right at the door who all knew each other and seemed to be having a laugh so it must have been you and Michael.

Welcome again,
Matt smile

P.S Joe is playing a couple of gigs in south england at the start of august, i have already got tickets for 2 of the shows (2nd and 3rd of august) so don't forget to get some although im sure michael is well ahead smile
