Keeping positive (in the best way) - my next scheduled gig - The Mentulls at Darlington Forum - 16th April.

Hope that hasn't jinxed it...… Happy New Year guys.....

I was being positive too Mike but we have just moved their 27 March gig in Aberdeen to September.

Well, failing that, my next 2 are due at The Cluny in May - Sari Schorr then Robert John & The Wreck; Jeff Beck having already been pushed back to 2022.

Several of the local Blues Clubs have posted their 2021 rosters, but Harry at Saltburn added a sliding scale of probability, from "No chance" to "Bloody well hope so!".

Robert Jon moving to September and looks like Sari to October.

Thanks for the updates Kenny; looks like Mike Zito has cancelled March/April dates.

Keep your ears peeled, Jason Wells, Indiana based "blue-collar" Blues-slinger, is probing for some UK dates: highly recommend this guy.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

wish I could be there but I guess it's still quite iffy ? Plus I am not getting on a plane for any reason. I suppose you can check with Grand Central a little closer to the scheduled date

Does anyone know when Eric's new release with Joe producing is due out ? I can't find anything about it

Re: My Next Concert (s)

Almost a year since I saw Melvin Taylor Band / Stevie Nimmo. Nothing else since. Anything before September in Scotland will be a bonus.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

Yes, last quarter of 2021 is the target date. Eric played here in Birmingham AL last Thursday and we got to hang out with he and LaDonna for a while after the show. He confirmed that they put it off this long in order to better promote it with some concerts and such. So it wasn't really a surprise when Eric guested at Joe's concert in Huntsville AL on 4/3. I think he said the name of it will be I Want My Crown, or something close to this. I'm waiting patiently, tapping my toes the entire time. So I have very little patience when it comes to new music from Eric or Joe. It should be epic top to bottom.

Feb 11th - Connor Selby @ Darlington Forum (three years in the waiting to catch Conor)

March 17th - Rebecca Downes @ Darlington Forum

March 18th - Kiki Dee @ Reeth; Memorial Hall (this has been put back twice already, so hope 3's a charm)

April 2nd - Dan Petlansky @ Newcastle; Cluny

That's as far as I'm sticking my neck out for now.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

well it was a last minute decision to go so i didnt really know enough ahead to say its my next one but my last one was Friday night in Baltimore to see Dirty Honey and Mammoth - Wolfgang Van Halen
Was a good time and great sets. I enjoyed Dirty Honey more live than I thought. They were very interactive with the audience while playing and looked to be having a great time playing for us, same for Mammoth for that matter. Mammoth had heavier sound than i expected which i dug.
