Brilliant!! You will not be disappointed Rick - they put on an amazing show.

I expect not. The venue is a purpose-built multi-use small theater with great acoustics, a legacy from some local wealthy benefactors. It seats just 500. This one should be a treat.

Rick, a good friend here in town is a retired lighting tech and worked a few tours for Alan. Jeff has nothing but praise for him and his band.

I'm goin to see Joe this Friday at The Brady Theatre in Tulsa,   but after that, and for the first time in a long long time,  I have no concerts on the agenda.

Just have not been acts that the wife and I enjoy,  appearing in this part of the world.

IDK what's happened.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

Aynsley Lister - @ Darlington Forum  9th Dec.

Aynsley's first showing at Darlington Blues Club since they moved from the old Arts Centre to their new Forum home.
As expected, it's a sell-out, so anyone else heading , if you haven't got a ticket then don't. And if you do have one and you want a seat, then get there early as seating will be limited to maximise the number of audience. Doors will open 7:30pm.

Re: My Next Concert (s)

Saw Dweezil Zappa the other night and it was one of the best shows I've seen in a long, long time.  The band was absolutely killer, as was Dweezil, of course.  I had a great seat and the sound was perfect.  One of the best $30 I ever spent.

In a nice twist, they announced "no audio or video recording and no photographs are allowed during the show." The crowd respected it and I can't believe what a difference it was.  I was never really bothered by people holding up their phones in concerts before, but it was really cool to go back in time a bit.  Regardless, if you have a chance to see Dweezil and you're a fan of Frank's music at all then definitely go.
