Topic: this topic goes out to joe bonamassa

joe , i love your music , been following you since the days of bloodline , taped many of your shows and all of them were great . i like to travel around and see you play in all different theaters . my question or comment is why don't you play different shows each night ? most bands that i see will not play the same set list night after night by doing this they get a bigger following more people will travel around to see you if they know that they can catch a different tune or a few different tunes each night . the grateful dead, gov't mule ,allman brothers all make a living on playing different songs each night . i don't want to tell you what to do or sound like a **** . just want to give you some food for thought  and maybe help build your fan base up a little more . i do my best to turn anybody i come across onto listening to your music or going to see you live . anyway don't want you to take this the worng way just trying to help build you  up more then what you are . see you on the road have tickets for 8 shows this summer and sure to get more ...die hard fan .joe

Mmmm, Could have a point I guess. However, I think Joe will be introducing some new tunes into the set this year.

Once Joe gets more established I suspect he will adopt this as Mark and Bogie will need to rehearse new numbers (& old numbers) that have not featured on the set list. I may be wrong but Heartaches and Nickels might be one of them

Can't wait for Joe's UK tour dates to be released, need to plan my business schedule to make sure I don't miss him!

dude , i love seeing him and i would hit the road like crazy if a knew i can see different set lists each night . then again you make a good point the new guys don't know to much of the old stuff . then again i play the bass and i am not in the league as mark or bogie but it only takes me a few hours to figure out a song and it's fun to watch a band work out new songs live and see how they progress from show to show anyway just a thought ....joe

Joebeacon, we really enjoy his shows, even it is the same setlist from the night before.  However, I am with you on this too, because variety is great.  But you take Eric Clapton on his last tour, his setlist only had minor changes from night to night, basically the same setlist.

Music is good for the Soul...
