Topic: Glen Hughes Unplugged at Band on the Wall Manchester

Glen is touring the UK, low key, with his new book and a whole wad of songs he has written over the years. He came across as great guy who has banished his demons, has a zest for life, a love of his music and proud of his roots. Glen showed his sense of humour and proved what a great player and songwriter he is, to a packed and appreciative room that was clearly respectful of this Legend of Rock. Regretably he felt unwell towards the end of the show, not coming out for an encore or to do book signings, tweeting shortly after, that he felt faint and disorientated. Hope he's OK, he laid on a great evening! If you read this Glen, thanks!

Re: Glen Hughes Unplugged at Band on the Wall Manchester

Glad you enjoyed it Geoff.  Shame he didn't have a gig anywhere near me as I would love to see him again.  His solo rock show earlier in the year at Mr Kyps really blew my socks off and would rank as one of the best gigs of the year for me.  And he does come across as a really nice guy when you meet him.
