Topic: Blues and food on BBC4

I have just seen a trailer for a new series by Rick Stein (chef) and the new programmes feature the blues music and the original food  from the people associated with  it. The trailer looks like it will feature some good music. Thought some would be interested. big_smile

Some might well be interested, but if they were, they'd be looking for something like this in Off Topics.  wink

You can say that again. I'd hardly put it on. Could be a good programme though. tongue

I resemble that remark. big_smile Will it show in the US or just UK, do we know? I don't do chitlins, but just ate some cheese grits this morning and am shopping around for some fresh collard greens since the frost is now on the pumpkin. yeah, fry the cornbread in bacon drippings, yum. good food meets good music, would like to see it.

Re: Blues and food on BBC4

I should imagine only the UK at the moment but you never know, BBC America or PBS may show it. I spend about two and a half months in the US every year and have done for years now but in all that time I still can't see the point or get the taste for grits. I have been served them in many forms by friends but still no. Rice and beans on the other hand.... big_smile  big_smile  big_smile

That's because some people don't care what food they put inside them or where it originates from.....their loss in the long run.
