Topic: Happy Pallindrome Day

While today is known to all of us as November 2, 2011, it can also be written as an 8 digit pallindrome as 11022011...one of only eight pallindrome's that will occur this century.

Enjoy your day!

Re: Happy Pallindrome Day

We tend to use a different convention here in the UK putting the date before the month, so I'm looking forward to 20 November this year.  It's not a palindrome but is kind of fun.  I guess we missed our chance on 11 February.

The liver is evil and must be punished - short form is "liver evil". On a similar note, I believe that tomorrow is International Stout Day. Spank those livers with a Guinness stout!  wink

What is today but yesterday's tomorrow...  Not a palindrome but it sounded good.

With that I will begin the liver spankage today  smile

Jane, there is an old joke there - something about "I once had a girlfriend who had 'MOM' tattooed on here abdomen. When you turned her upside down it read 'WOW'".  big_smile

They Might Be Giants have a song called I Pallindrome I
I don't like the opening line, but the rest of it is pretty funny.
THese guys wrote the theme song for Malcom in the Middle.

Er, nope, it's 2/11/2011 so doesn't really work. Mind you, As Lyn said, if you'd have posted it on February the 11th this year you would have been in with a chance  tongue
