Topic: Plymouth Pavilions 19th October 2011 - Photos.

What a wonderful night in Plymouth with Joe on the stage and my 10 year old daughter by my side, 3rd row seats and two photo passes!

Below are two photobucket slideshows of my better pictures and a link to a YouTube video of Just Got Paid.

Watch out for Joe changing his V for a LP, not sure why but he never misses a beat!

As always comments are encouraged.

Now - no sleep till Hammersmith on Saturday when I do it all again......

Hi John.

Well done on your photos - they're great. I was particularly interested as you also have a Fuji HS10.

I really liked the ones around 141-144 where the Flying V shone out and Joe was in relative darkness - very artistic.

I was going to say Hi to you, but you were rushing about...will try to say Hi at Hammersmith if I spot you in the queue. We are on the front row of the Balcony so I might not spot you.

Here is a link to the few of mine that I kept - I was being a bit furtive from my 3rd row position as I thought that I might get told off by the Marshals - consequently mine were taken in a hurry!!

Hello Linda,

Sorry to have missed you.

I will be taking pics again on Saturday, but on my own this time.

I am going to be sat about half way back in the stalls on the right side.

May get to Woodies do, so may see there?

Nice pics you took too - what equipment do you have?

Plymouth has always been a bit fussy about pictures and still is. Bristol Colston Hall used to be worse but they are relatively ok now.

Booked for Bornemouth next year and got second row centre.

Hi John.

Thanks - I have a Fuji HS-10, which I still use on SR Auto as I haven't got up my confidence to try the manual priority settings yet, especially under concert conditions where I want to enjoy the show without faffing about too much with my camera.

Your seats sound brilliant - we are on Row C of Block B at Bournemouth, but we are over on the right hand side...so I still might not get a decent photo of Rick!!
I'm on the 2nd Row at Sheffield on the Rick-side, so I'll have to have another try from there!
We're also going to Birmingham (Row F - too far back!!) and the re-scheduled Nottingham (Row D - a bit iffy) - perhaps 2012 will be my year for getting some good JB/band photos!!

I'm sure when I saw Paul Rodgers at Hammersmith, I saw loads of "No Photography" signs around the venue...I must stop being so obedient and boring, maybe I'm going to have to be a bit more daring and have a bash from my Balcony vantage point - if I don't get rumbled, the HS-10's 30x zoom should have no problem with that distance. It just about managed Roger Waters from the back corner of the O2 which is somewhat larger!!
