Have the DVR set.  Channell 711 on Verizon Fios.  I'll give it an honest try even though my opinions are well known.  maybe something will change.

It won't. Although the music was top notch (especially JB & JB) GH just doesn't do it for me. I think I Glenn's molars got more air time then the rest of the band combined.

Great versions of Song of Yesterday and John Henry though. Top notch!

Re: BCC ON PALLADIA

The first time I heard Glenn and Joe together was GC King of the Blues youtube videos. I was not impressed and didn’t think much about it until I found out they were going to do an album together.  I honestly didn’t think I would like the album. I was genuinely stunned by Glenn’s range and emotion he has in his voice and the true passion for his music erupts when he is on stage. He is truly a gifted artist and has my upmost respect. I have since had the honor and privilege to meet them all and see them perform live. I doubt I will ever meet a group of more talented musicians again in my life.

Thank you! Derek, Jason, Joe and Glenn.

Take care,
Bill

Re: BCC ON PALLADIA

Enjoyed seeing most of this show, I didn't watch the whole thing, was flickin back to baseball!  I find Glenn entertaining and like BCC 2  much better than the first CD.  It could be me, but I've acquired more of a taste and appreciation for Glenn's vocals second time around.

Rockfarmer, I hear ya', people usually look at me sideways when I say I can only listen to ACDC in small doses.  Their music is FANTASTIC, but my brain is really challenged by the singers screaming, I cant understand him!!  (both singers)  I am a HUGE Zep fan and I think you mentioned you weren't into them too much, so our thresholds are in different places.  wink

Re: BCC ON PALLADIA

I have it on DVR and I can say that I don't hate the songs Black Country, The Great Divide or Song of Yesterday, but I could not watch/listen to the entire show all in one sequence.

I'm gonna keep trying.

BTW...The version of BOJH that BCC played on here is one of my favorites as the original album version didn't do much for my personal taste.
