@Curby: She, Adele is a very grounded, down to earth person, you can see that on her RAH video, and yes, her instincts have been good so far. At only... what, 23 yrs now - all she need to do is stay healthy.

My money is on her being a "flash in the pan" like most of the crap that passes as Rock/Pop these days. Enjoy it while it lasts Brack. I heard a cover of her "hate" song on Sunday played by some angry lesbians with an edgy harder rock spin. It was really hot, about the only resemblance were the lyrics. I'll see if I can dig it up on YouTube.

You're certainly not alone, Rocket. She doesn't turn me on or even move me, and believe it or not, I know several other like-minded people. I'm not impressed by her on-stage potty mouth or by her endless stories about failed relationships. But, credit to anyone who can build a career like that and take the punters for millions.

Not to try to turn this into 'bash Adele day' but I just don't like her voice.  She's a good enough singer, especially when compared to some of the rubbish that gets into the charts nowadays, but there's something about the voice that just makes me not want to buy into her.  Doesn't mean though that I can't admire what she's achieved in a short space of time.  But give me a singer like Beth Hart and then you're talking!

Thank God it's each to his or her own. That's all I say. We don't need the thought police just yet.
