Topic: Steepwater Band Clava

I got the new album from a band I have been following since 2007. Chicago based Steepwater Band. Clava is their best album in my opinion to date. Trust me on this. Check out the first song. Not a bad song on the disc.

Re: Steepwater Band Clava

I got this cd in the mail about 2 weeks ago. think it is just fantastic.

For anyone in the Milwaukee area Steepwater Band will be playing Club Garibaldi's on Saturday September 10th. Opening band will be Mojo Radio(formerly Soul Shaker) which is another band worth checking out.

Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.

I feel a bit of a lonely Brit when it comes to the Steepwater Band. I love 'em. The show I saw at Bush Hall was stunning. Live At The Double Door has been on constant rotation here since it came out. Thanks to Jim and Rev Paul for turning me on to these guys. CDBaby are selling the download for the new album CLAVA - sounds pretty good to me.

Love the Steepwater Band ... will be watching for them to come anywhere close to me.

Caught the Steepwater Band last night in Milwaukee (Mojo Radio opened the show). WOW!!!! I thought Clava sounded good but the songs live are unbeleivable. I swear everytime I see them Jeff's guitar playing just gets better and better.

I totally agree with you Rev. I haven't seen them live since 2007 but the albums keep getting better and better. Their early stuff was much better live to and I didn't really like the albums all that much. Now that I do I can't wait to see them again. Great guys too.
